Using Internet resources
1 point - You used one website.
2 points - You used two websites.
3 points - You used three or more websites.
Variety of contributions (eg from Africa and the Caribbean)
1 point - You wrote about contributions from one part of the Empire.
2 points - You wrote about contributions from two parts of the Empire.
3 points - You wrote about contributions from three parts of the Empire.
Appropriate use of language
1 point - The language that you used would not be understood by 7-11 year olds.
2 points - The language that you used would be understood by 7-11 year olds BUT the booklet was not clearly organised (titles, subheadings, paragraphs, labels for images etc).
3 points -The language that would be understood by 7-11 year olds AND the booklet was clearly organised (titles, subheadings, paragraphs, labels for images etc).
Effort
1 point - You have put in little effort and have only done the bare minimum.
2 points - You have put in a good effort and your booklet looks attractive.
3 points - You have put in an excellent effort and your booklet is very eye catching and interesting.
Originality
1 point - You have copied all of the material
2 points - You have put some of the material into your own words and have designed your booklet well for 7-11 year olds
3 points - You have adapted the material really well and have produced a interesting and original booklet.
